The secret was still bothering him, more so since he had no idea who made it. However, Aya didn't have time to focus on that, needing to apologize to Ken for the earlier incident. He hadn't meant it that way at all but had quickly realized that he didn't like others thinking of Ken that way. In all honesty, he was jealous and he didn't like that he was acting like this.

Finishing up Ken's favorite flavor of tea, he put it on the table in front of the TV where a soccer game was going. On the table there were a variety of Ken's favorite snacks. It hadn't been easy to find all these Japanese treats but he'd managed somehow. Really, he should just order some straight from their homeland at some point.

The others had been bribed into being gone for awhile leaving the place all to them.

He really did want to make things up to Ken.
redlikecrimson: (Explanation)
They'd all determined that this mission was going to be an easy one. It wouldn't take much to finish off the target and so only Ken and Aya were assigned to it.

Take down the heads of the cooperation who created and distributed the poison they found in their last mission. Since Aya had seen the files from the last one, he would be the best one for being sent in and Ken would be there to cover his back. If poison was around then they needed someone who recognized it as well as someone to be there for that other person.

Drawing in a deep breath, Aya glanced back at Ken. It was now or never. Supposedly the number of guards would be minimal, something they would be able to handle without breaking a sweat. What neither of them realized was that the information was wrong and that the number was doubled that inside the building.

"Ready?"

After watching things on the community, Aya's instincts were screaming at him to stop Ken. Somehow he just knew that his partner was done thinking rationally and that he was about to do something stupid. Above all, he had to stop him before he did anything like that.

So he entered their room and quickly closed then locked the door.

"What are you doing?"

Since he'd been sharing a bed with Ken, Aya found he'd been able to sleep more peacefully. He hadn't found himself having a nightmare in quite awhile and he'd almost forgotten what it was like to actually be able to just rest. Tonight though, his body had other plans.

At first it wasn't obvious. His face became a frown but there was no other indication that anything might be wrong. It was at that time that his dream started to become darker, almost as if it were twisting into terrible things just to torment him properly. He didn't want to see these visions but there they were, haunting his rest.

So, he started to shift in his sleep, unusual since he typically could remain still the entire time. And he remained unaware of the fact that he might disturb Ken.

It hadn't been the easiest thing in the world to manage but somehow he'd come across a Japanese film that didn't have subtitles. He'd seen it once years ago when he was still in high school so he was aware that it was an action film. The genre wasn't exactly his favorite but he didn't mind it either. Besides, he knew that Ken would probably enjoy something with more action to it than anything else and since there wasn't much variety he went along with it.

Without telling Ken what kind of movie he'd found for them to watch, Aya set it up on their TV they'd bought for their room and brought the remote over to the bed so he could sit next to Ken. He'd already ensured they wouldn't be bothered for the rest of they which meant plenty of time for privacy.

"Ready?"

Aya really was a patient man. He could let someone work out their problems for as long as they needed and wait until they were finished. However, he was on his last straw. Ken didn't look like he had any intention of getting better. In fact, he was sure that his lover had no intention of ever having sex ever again.

Hours after their talk with Chloe, he walked into the room that Ken was in and crossed his arms.

"Ken, we need to talk." His tone said that refusing wasn't an option here.
