RL with Ken
It hadn't been the easiest thing in the world to manage but somehow he'd come across a Japanese film that didn't have subtitles. He'd seen it once years ago when he was still in high school so he was aware that it was an action film. The genre wasn't exactly his favorite but he didn't mind it either. Besides, he knew that Ken would probably enjoy something with more action to it than anything else and since there wasn't much variety he went along with it.
Without telling Ken what kind of movie he'd found for them to watch, Aya set it up on their TV they'd bought for their room and brought the remote over to the bed so he could sit next to Ken. He'd already ensured they wouldn't be bothered for the rest of they which meant plenty of time for privacy.
"Ready?"

Bringing a hand up to push some of Ken's hair back from his face, he smiled for him. "Did you like the movie?"
no subject
"Hell yeah I did. I've missed Japanese."
no subject
"I'll have to see if I can find us more movies to watch in the future."
no subject
"Thanks."

Letting out a content sigh, Aya closed his eyes and just let his fingers trace over Ken's leg. It was nice to have the time to simply be quiet like this, to be happy together.
"I'm glad you liked it."

The rest of the team. Chloe was out there.
He'd been thinking about the situation a lot recently, everything from the events to the words that had been spoken. According to their friend, he was jealous of the two of them because he wanted it too. Apparently because he wanted to be a part of it. Enough so that he'd actually listened to them in the bathroom that one time.
Aya was prepared to take this seriously but he had to wonder if there was more going on under the surface. If this was still a result of Chloe dealing with the pain of losing the woman he loved. It was hard to tell given how he couldn't be sure how Chloe felt about Klavier.
What he needed to do was clear the air between all three of them. But before that, he really needed to talk to Ken so he could find out where he stood on this. It was the right thing to do at this point. He owed it to his partner.
"Ken, I'd like to talk to you about something." He would make it up to him for having this uncomfortable conversation after it was done.

"About what?"
no subject
"I want you to tell me your feelings about what is going on with Chloe." Mainly because he knew that Ken wouldn't hold back when they had privacy like this and their native tongue to speak in.
no subject
Leave it to Ken to just speak his mind without really thinking.
"I'm really nor sure what to make of it. It's flattering and he's... really attractive, but... I can't tell if he's really serious. Maybe he's just confused or something..."

Pain could make a man do the most unusual things. Especially when it was pain caused by love. Aya didn't want to hurt Chloe but the fact remained that this seemed...too sudden in a way. No, it was more than that but he couldn't quite figure out what it was exactly.
no subject
He knew he'd been hurting and Ken was the last person to discount someone else's pain, but lately, he really didn't know what to make of Chloe. He counted him among his close friends, but after his revelation under the sway of Eris' golden apple, things had become a good deal more complicated.
"I thought he had the hots for that blonde German on the community. Has that changed or something?"
no subject
Which did make the situation more confusing and it had been the main reason why Aya had taken so long to think about it. Taking a deep breath, he ran through the thoughts in his head quickly. He was going to have to talk to both of them eventually but for now he wanted to establish something with Ken.
"I think that the best we can do is just to keep an eye on him. However, I don't think he knows what he wants and it's helping to inspire the feelings of jealousy and longing." He tilted his head to look at Ken's face.
no subject
"We've been keeping an eye on him. Do you think it'll help if we keep it up?"
no subject
Moving to sit up, he turned around to face Ken, hands going to his face while leaned forward to rest his forehead against his. He felt more connected to him this way. It was comforting actually.
"Ken. He doesn't know what he wants but I know that we want each other, yes?"
no subject
Smiling faintly, he reached up to settle his hand over one of Aya's before he pulled it in for a quick kiss to his palm.
"I have what I want."
no subject
"As do I. I have you."
no subject
Chuckling, he pulled back a little, but made no other move to lose that contact.
no subject
"You have a talent for being blunt."
no subject
Hearing Aya laugh never failed to make Ken smile in response, and this time was no different.
"I like Chloe. I really do, but I don't know if he's jealous of us together, or that he just wants to belong to someone. Until he knows for sure, there's really nothing we can do about it."
no subject
Until then, he could trust him as a friend and as a comrade but nothing deeper than that. Chloe seemed too emotionally unsteady to handle that and he wasn't ready to change his mind on that.
Leaning forward, he pressed a kiss to Ken's lips. "What would you like to do with the rest of the day?" A subject change but a necessary one.
no subject
The subject change took Ken a little by surprise, but the kiss was met with a soft smile and a bit of a returned nip.
"You know, I really have no idea. I didn't really have anything planned. What do you want to do?"
