Ken being quiet like this was a sure sign that he was happy in the moment. Aya couldn't have asked for anything better and let the silence between them linger while the plot unfolded. Even for someone like himself who had been surrounded by the English language for years now, it was far easier to follow the story when it was in Japanese.
